Yes, it is Frembo (fake brembo)..
But for trial, why not.
They all have the same size, same 84mm bracket hole, same pad size, similar ..if this one failed, i'll use the setup for a real one.
bracket has been made to match the original one, but then small problem on the screw connecting brake hose to the caliper. It use different screw (banjo screw) then the old one !!
An original Brembo use 1mm pitch screw (possibly m10 x 1mm for mine), this is different standard compare to Nissin which use 1.25mm pitch thread. In my country, we use 99% 1.25mm pitch screw for this caliper-hose connection. i have walk to at least 10 local modification store for this banjo screw, but only found one store sell m8x1mm, the rest sell the nissin one.
Quick search, ebay is the quickest solution, but that's not cheap.
Then i got idea, why not look for the screw to the online sellers who sell brembo caliper. Then after few sms here and there, found that they are not selling the screw, at all !! How come !
A quick phone call to wellknown online modification store which sell brembo: they never ever use the 1mm pitch screw. The use 1.25" tap and modify the brembo..
Really surprised to know that..
Untill i can get the correct 1mm pitch banjo screw, there are no point to get real brembo. For now on, tapping the frembo to use 1.25mm screw is fastest way. But still, need to wait another day.. What a day.
